This is the mystery quilt I designed for My Quilting Buddies. It turned out pretty nice. The flash washed out the color in this picture. I will have to take a new picture.
I haven't tried this method yet. Why? Because I don't sit down long enough to sew. Usually the only time I sit is when I eat, drive, sew, or compute. On the My Quilting Buddies group forum we are going to try some EPP. I goggled English paper piecing and found this cute project.
Missouri Quilt Company has some great video tutorials. I watched this one tonight and thought I would share it with all of you. I think once I finish some UFO's I will have to make a table runner with this block.
Here is a great article on how to calculate material and such for quilts. I get asked by my friends a lot how much they would need to make a quilt top. Now I can refer them here. Thanks crazy mom quilts for doing all of the math for us.
I made this memory quilt for a customer on Etsy. She sent me 5 inch squares from her son's baby clothes. It was so much fun creating this for her. She is giving it to her husband for Christmas. It is crib sized.
You have got to go over to Jill's blog and see this awesome fabric travel high chair that she made for her son. Don't you just love it when you see something and think....I can make that. Kudos to Jill for sharing this. Gotta make one for Andrew.
100 posts is a wonderful reason to have a give away. And what a give away it is. She is giving away a ton of goodies....take a look and seeeeeeeee<-----------
Carin has been blogging for 4 years and is having a very generous give away. Head over and check out her blog and of course the give away. Tell her I sent you.
